Collection: Formal Bonsai Stands

Formal Bonsai Stands have handcrafted legs, that have 25 separate pieces, which are cut, and sanded by using 3 different type of sanders, all done by hand. The four support bars that are attached to the underside of the top and legs are very unique in that it takes many different tools to make them.

The Formal Bonsai stand is my favorite stand to build. I designed this style on request from a customer in the state of Washington 20 years ago. The customer needed a stand for a Formal Upright Bonsai tree. It will also work for many other styles of Bonsai stands.
